Karnataka MLAs' Plea On Resignation: SC Orders Status Quo Till July 16 HD
Hearing the plea of 10 Congress-JD(S) MLAs who have resigned from the Karnataka Assembly, the Supreme Court on July 12 ordered status quo to be maintained till July 16, when the case will next be heard. The MLAs want a direction to the Assembly Speaker to accept their resignation and not proceed with disqualification proceedings against them.
