It's Worse than We Thought | Pop Up Camper Storage Box Water Damage Repair | 2008 Jayco Select 12HW HD

So, the water damage in the front storage box was quite a bit worse than we originally thought. However, it’s not so bad that it couldn’t be repaired. This video details the steps we took to repair and return some structural rigidity to our compromised pop up camper front storage box floor and wall. We went a step beyond just repairing the damage, however. By priming, painting, and applying a spray on truck bed liner to the flooring of the front storage box, we - in our opinion - made the front storage box look a lot better! Because of the extensive damage to the exterior aluminum as well, we took the opportunity to install a new, and larger, front storage box access panel/baggage door. This leads into our next project of building a slide out cooler drawer for our front storage box, which will be detailed in our next video featuring our 2008 Jayco Select 12HW!
