He loves people and is always happy to be caught. He is experienced in all types of trails, around the ranch and in arenas. Trained at a high level, he has a superior neckrein, stops, backs, and sidepasses easily. Gunner is one of the prettiest softest moving mules we have ever had. He is really smooth riding with a slow collected lope and beautiful jog trot. He will ride out by himself and is confident leading or following; he can really walk out when asked or just meander along behind a group. He navigates rough, steep areas easily and goes over and through water, bridges, and logs, up and down anything you point him at. He loves doing jobs around the ranch, gathering cattle, opening and closing gates, ponying, flagging colts, and horn hunting. Dogs, wildlife,machinery, 4 wheelers don’t bother him. He is responsive to all leg cues, has a nice turn around and spin, takes his leads, stays between the reins while loping circles. He is good on the ground, stands good saddling, mounting, is easy to clip, bathe, loads and hauls well and is respectful of your space. Not many mules have his georgeous looks combined with his tremendous movement and unlimited abilities. This is a mule that doesn’t quit you on a long day’s work he has a good mind, experience and willing attitude to take you wherever you want to go for years to come.
