Awesome Memorial Day Railfanning in SW VA - Day 4 Final, NS Altavista & C'burg Districts (5/28/2018) HD

For Memorial Day Monday, I started on the Altavista District east of Roanoke and spent about a half day there (I also tried to hop between the Altavista & Blue Ridge Districts and found out that it was really difficult to do so. In the end, I had to sacrifice a few trains on the Blue Ridge District). Because this part was new to me I ended up staying at Goodview for the whole duration. A few trains to point out were mixed freight NS 18M with a rare SD75M on the point, and the same SD70AH-T4 I saw at the beginning of the trip came back on intermodal NS 218, trailing. Afterwards, I switched to the NS Christiansburg District to finish off the day as I started to work my way back to Charlotte for my flight back home the next day. I also spent some time at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC (awesome museum by the way) and railfanned before and after in Salisbury, NC to wrap up this awesome trip (quite a bit of foreign power as well as the GoRail unit).
