Wake up Christians Satan isn’t Your Biggest Enemy Satan is not your biggest enemy nor is he the biggest detriment to your spiritual walk, contrary to what you may think. The biggest detriment to your spiritual walk is YOUR FLESH. See, if you are walking with Jesus and you have received His Holy Spirit, you have power to overcome your enemy in satan. As long as your heart and your mind are in the right place you WILL be able to overcome satan. but those who start to walk according to their flesh, they allow the devil to overtake them, and when you allow THIS enemy, the enemy WITHIN you, YOUR OWN FLESH to start ruling you and taking over, THEN you have a VERY serious problem, because then every OTHER enemy on the whole face of the world can defeat you. Satan is nothing IF you are with Jesus. BUT if you are IN YOUR OWN FLESH and if you are living according to the lusts of YOUR heart, then you are defeated already. And many Christians are defeated already. They KNOW they have an enemy in the devil, they know that the government has corruption and they know that there is corruption in the world, but they DON’T realize that their GREATEST enemy IS THEIR OWN FLESH RIGHT WITH THEM. I want to read to you what is written about this in Galatians chapter 5, I’m starting in verse 16-26; “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But IF you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have CRUCIFIED THE FLESH WITH ITS PASSIONS AND DESIRES. If we live by the Spirit, let us ALSO WALK IN THE SPIRIT. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” Your biggest enemy IS YOUR OWN FLESH, it is the biggest hump/obstacle in life to overcome. Your enemy is not just something out there in the world, evil is not just something out there in the world, IT IS YOUR OWN FLESH TO OVERCOME. Will you overcome YOUR OWN FLESH? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
