It might not be right away, but one of those events is sure to be Thanos reappearing in the franchise through one means or another. After all, Thanos has a pretty expensive history in the Marvel comics, and the MCU only scratched the surface of how his actions affect the universe. There are also a number of interesting ways that Thanos could be brought back into the fold, which would be super entertaining to watch. We haven’t really seen the character elements that made Thanos such a popular villain in the first place. Thanos’ return would also give the writers behind the MCU more freedom to take the upcoming villains in some new and interesting directions. Just about anything can happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward, which is pretty fun and exciting. However, this also means that the tried and true villain Thanos will probably reappear before too long; just in case some of the new storylines and bad guys don’t quite land.
