JK Rowling Reveals the True Identity of the ZouWu from the Comic-Con Trailer for Fantastic Beasts 2 HD

JK Rowling released a clip today on a Warner Brothers China site regarding a new beast in Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald -- the ZouWu. In the recently released Comic-Con trailer, there was an unusual beast seen on the streets of Paris with Newt Scamander trying to lure it into his case. In my initial reaction video to the trailer, I mistakenly labeled the beast an Oni, and then later as a TaoWu. Now, thanks to @WizardWho and JK Rowling herself, we finally have the correct name and personality of the ZouWu. In this video, I analyze this beast and what it can mean for the future of the Fantastic Beasts series. Even my corrected video didn’t get the animal quite right. And I have WizardWho to thank for setting us all straight. WizardWho lives in Beijing and has been a Harry Potter fan for decades as well as covering news of the Wizarding World for a very long time. As she’s not only Chinese, but knows mythology, she was able to quickly find the correct beast when Warner Brothers in China identified it as a ZouWu.
