Track 4 from their second album “Givin’ Blood” released in 1993, copyright Warner Bros. Records. The band was formed in 1990 by Tony “Wild T” Springer, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago and later moved to Toronto. Springer’s style was hugely influenced by Jimi Hendrix, and his blues rock music has been described as also having elements of funk and reggae. He was invited by David Bowie to play lead guitar on the Morissey song “I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday” recorded for Bowie’s 1993 album “Black Tie White Noise.” The power trio has released a few more studio albums over the years, and their latest “Live” was released in 2015. I’ve seen them perform several times and they are one of the best live acts around.
