In this video: - Unboxing - In depth look - Teardown - Short test drive (stay tuned for bash in part 2) Features: - 4WD - Brushless combo (rebranded Racerstar): 2435, 3300KV motor, 25A ESC - 2.4GHz 3CH proportional - Oil filled shocks - Ball bearings - 1500mAh 7.4V (2S) LiPo - Mains voltage (110-240V) charger included. Charging current 800mA. Suitable for 2S & 3S Lithium batteries with standard balance plug. What I like on this car: - Very smooth oil filled shocks (really!) - Very grippy off road tires with foam inside - Adjustable toe (front only) and camber - Very good steering with no dead zone around the center position and very little backlash - 3 pin steering servo - Steel pinion Metal bevel gears - Steel central driveshaft - Steel driveshafts & CVD - Low center of gravity - The steering trim pots (dual rate & center position) - Proper self tapping screws are used for plastic parts - Long run time of about 20 minutes (depending on throttle) What not: - Plastic transmission cups (only on the differential side) - Plastic spider gears - Plastic spur gear is unprotected - The throttle trim pot (a throttle dual rate pot would have been better) - The main switch and the ESC capacitors are flapping around in the breeze The measured wheel RPM (without load) is 3100. If you do the gear ratio math with the 3300KV motor and the 11 tooth motor pinion, it should be 2474. So I believe, the used motor is the 4500KV version. The theoretical speed is 42km/h. With the optional 16 tooth pinion it would be 61km/h in theory. All in all this buggy is a winner. The build quality is way better than in a WLtoys A959 for example. Unfortunately spare parts are a bit hard to get. Please let me know, if you know, where we can buy them.
