Episode 7: Tower of Strength - In Oct 1938, after Wuhan Battle, War of Resistance entered period of strategic stalemate. Due to the resistance of Chinese people, Japanese aggressors failed to achieve their goal of defeating and conquering China quickly. They had to make significant adjustments to their strategy. Japanese strategy changed from military attack supplemented with political lure to political lure supplemented with military attack，with the attempt to take survival of KMT government as a condition to lure its compromise.
