Recon once again there was nothing in the swamp the coast is clear for the ducks. The ducks were so focused today for the morning rush I couldn’t get up the tree fast enough and get my harness done up to film them for an aerial view of the rush to the creek. Not a lot of flying action today, have no idea why not it makes no sense why the Muscovy aren’t flying for us to the lake, some days they do and some days they don’t makes no sense. The morning rush turned out to be a long steady duck train to the creek. I’m really starting to get worried about last year’s Muscovy females, they aren’t getting their new feathers they almost look like they are dying a slow death. Had to do a feed run today and of course while I was gone the ducks snuck home, but I think they snuck home just before I got back from the farm their water was still too full for them to be in the yard that long. It was funny the ducks stand in front of the pen for me to open the gates so they can eat, it’s almost like they are talking to me or telling ne hey “open the pen we’re hungry” Something strange is going the ducks don’t want to go into the pen at night this is the first time I’ve ever seen this, normally they go in once it starts to get dark and the pen lights come on.
