The UMI IRON I got last week was an engineering sample (hardware 1:1 with the final) from UMI. But I have decided not to do a full review of this version yet, and instead use this one to do a disassemble / teardown + bend test of it! as I anyway will get a second device (final) soon. In this video I am first going to disassemble/do a teardown of the UMI IRON. I will check the battery and infos, the mainboard, connections and components/layout of the phone. After that I will assemble it again, and do a bend test on the phone to see how strong the body construction really is. A second UMI IRON phone (final) is currently on the way to me, so I will wait for that one, before I do the full review - just to be sure I do the test with a 100% proper final device. But feel free to ask in the mean time.
