Guilt that the ancestors will come after him for killing Redtail in cold blood? That they will see through his deception and lies. It’s an interesting detail that the Erins included. Tigerclaw is a strong and brave cat, but in this moment he is on edge and cowardly. It makes me wonder... if he has such a problem with dark spaces and the moonstone, how he handled his nine lives ceremony. There is a short story in the Ultimate Guide, but I won’t bother reading it. Because honestly, it’s kind of contradicting to several characters. It says that he does not have Runningnose’s support, but we all know from Tigerclaw’s Fury, that it was Runningnose who advocated most for Tigerclaw to be the next leader. And it doesn’t mention anything about any fear with entering the moonstone. Mentioning that the last time he had visited was when he was an apprentice. Which is not true.. But I guess details get missed when you have multiple authors writing books. I dunno. But, his fear of being judged by the starry warriors in StarClan could have just died away, once he took more lives and stopped caring what StarClan thought.
