Is China's Space Program About To Pass Up NASA?

The Chinese space program has been advancing at a rapid speed of innovation that is leaving other competitors in the dust since they emerged as a serious player approximately 10 years ago, with spaceX being about the only exception. While the majority of the world views space research as a collaborative effort amongst countries, China conducts its space program in independence. We know only a little of the plans for space exploration of China. However, what we do know has been quite spectacular.
