Neighbors in East Nashville have been living without a solid roof for more than a month, with no end in sight. Exposed wiring, missing ceiling tiles, and water spots on the carpet are the current living conditions for people at the Porter East Apartments. “It feels like a war zone coming home every day,” resident Jenna Hancock said.
