THIS IS A TOOL ASSISSTED SPEEDRUN RUNNER : Rodster CATEGORY : UV Max [TAS] IWAD (NAME) : doom2.wad (Doom 2) PWAD (NAME) : chillax-v9.7.2FIXED.wad (Chillax) TIME : 4:11 minutes PORT : prboom-plus 2.5.1.5 TOOLS : XDRE 2.20 TYPE OF TAS : built frame-by-frame COMMENTARY: At first the Archviles+Cyberdemons in the starting area were a huge threat for me. I was puzzled at how to kill the Archviles quickly there, while being bombarded by Cyberdemons and blocked by their minions. All my ideas lead to my death, so I decided to progressing the map instead of caring about the Archviles. Unfortunately, I might have done a huge MISTAKE. One Archvile from the starting area sneaked inside the yellow door, thus reviving all the already killed Revenants. Soon, another much huger pain arised, the commonly known stucked Cacodemons. For them to appear it seems to be best to run into the corner inside the BFG room. I think, it would have been better to do exactly that, while I was busy clearing the hallway with my Rocket Launcher around the 1 minute mark instead of the 3 minute mark. But, as usual, there are pro and cons for everything, as I was unsure if it would really be benefical and my patience seemed to ran out, I started to prioritize finishing the map.
