This week’s trailer is 83" Low Pro High Side Dump (DM). This 14-foot DM is built on a strong 8-inch I-beam frame with 3-inch channel cross-members on 16-inch centers. With its high sides (36 or 48-inches), the DM is perfect for loading a variety of items like dirt, gravel, brush and other loose material. The DM is available with an ultra-low deck height of 28-inches or 24-inches with the addition of drop axles. This feature makes it ideal for loading small to medium sized equipment. The DM is equipped with an HD 2 5/16 adjustable coupler and an upgraded 10K, drop-leg jack that makes hitching a breeze. This trailer also features an upgraded, full-sized, divided toolbox that not only provides storage but protects the hydraulic components and battery from the elements. This trailer comes standard with a 110V battery with an integrated trickle charger that allows for charging of the deep-cycle battery between uses. This DM is also equipped with a tarp-kit to keep you safe and legal when hauling loose material on the open road. The DM also has an upgraded 6-inch hydraulic cylinder for more power when raising the bed. In addition to the standard power-up/down feature of the hydraulic system, this trailer has an upgraded gravity down function. This helps save battery power when dumping multiple loads. The DM also comes with stake pockets that allow for the addition of side-extensions for hauling material that could extend over the side. It also comes equipped with a spare tire and mount. The rear of the trailer has a two-way spreader gate/barn door that allows you to spread or dump material. This DM also comes standard with rear slide-in ramps that assist with the loading of equipment. This DM sits on two 7,000 lb. Dexter axles (equipped with the EZ Lube hub system) that give this trailer a 14,000-pound GVWR.
