Could it Be Magic - The King's Singers

From their 1980 album New Day. The best backing vocalists, bar none. From the original, classic line up, or 5/6 of. Over the years the successive incarnations of the KS seem to have become more fixated with a capella. But I always loved their pop songs with rock band / orchestral backing, to give depth and substance. Some exquisite instrumental as well as vocal arrangements, combining modern and classical to great effect. And a stirring song that was made for this kind of treatment. There are many renditions of CIBM out there, some half decent, but this transcends them all. The artwork begins with one of mine, and morphs into a detail from the cover of the New Day album of origin, and concludes back with mine.
