L tribute - Wanderer's Lullaby (Death Note AMV) HD

Okay, first of all, originally, this video was going to be a lot less depressive. I even chose a cheerful song, Owl City’s Fireflies, but then I heard this amazing piece and I just had to change. L is one of my favourite characters, so it’s a shame I didn’t make a video about him earlier, but it ended up this way. The first concept was more about his weirdness, friendship with Light, but after I switched to „Wanderer’s Lullaby” by Adriana Figueroa, I also changed the aspect, so this video took out more of the biblical references, showed the characters compassion and forgiveness. The total concept is, as you may see at the end of the video, that L is dreaming about his death and past and future (as it kind of happened in the anime), and in the end he is waking up, and going to Watari for help. So what happens is basically canon in the anime, but this video is a longer version with music, and I also put in Near and Mello, as they together succeded in defeating Light. This also fits for the „lullaby” sense of the song. I wanted to put a lot more Light into this, since their friendship-enemy relationship is one of the best parts of the story, but it didn’t really worked, so it stayed as it is. Of course, I do not own anything, Death Note belongs to Tsugumi Ohba, Takeshi Obata, and to any other rightful owners, and „Wanderer’s lullaby” belongs to Adriana Figueroa. Hope you enjoy the video!
