I´m thinking about you as I am sitting here Drowning my sorrows in Whiskey and beer I tried my very best just to forget But no matter what I do - I can´t get you out of my head And when I fall asleep you sneak into my dreams Maybe I am not as hard as it seems And although it seems to rip me apart I can´t let my head rule my heart, got to take this pain instead Today I feel like I´m my own feelings slave Because my mind just doesn´t wanna help me through theese days The music´s playing loud, driving the neighbours mad, But still it can´t break through the silence in my head And even all this booze running down my throat Can´drive the darkness deep inside me out for good I´m thinking about you as I am sitting here Drowning my dignity in Whiskey and beer I guess I will get used to walk my way alone Although it´s lights seem to have darkened since you´ve gone And when I fall asleep you will be back again to burn yourself into my soul, into my brain
