Tezak's Beaver Creek

Thank you to Ed Tezak for the "lift" to the old Skaguay Hydro-electric power plant. This is the helicopter ride up to the ruins of the plant on Beaver Creek in Fremont County. This old plant was built in 1901 and served Cripple Creek power until it was wiped out during a flood in the mid sixties. The only way in to the site is by air. All roads and trails have long since been washed away by flooding. The area remains virtually untouched.
