The path to Bugsy is full of dangers... NOT! A bug gym. How intimidating. So I try to intimidate your ears off with banter about shinies, and GSC shininess is tough to explain. Lots of math gymnastics with IVs involved in the calculation. Urgh. And on top of that, having great IVs and having a shiny are mutually exclusive! Fortunately, the later generations simplified things a lot, and allowed for any shiny/IV combination.
