NC State vs. Notre Dame: The Notre Dame Fighting Irish improved to 8-0 at home on the season with a 73-65 win over NC State. It was a tough game throughout, with both teams making runs to keep the game close. Nate Laszewski led the Irish with 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 4-of-5 from three-point range with 11 rebounds in the win. Laszewski went on a personal 8-0 run with 2 three-pointers, a blocked shot and a dunk midway through the 2nd half that proved to be critical. Dane Goodwin knocked down 6 of his 12 shot attempts on the way to 17 points and 8 rebounds and Blake Wesley added 15 points for the Irish. Dereon Seabron paced the Wolfpack with 21 points in a losing effort.
