They are successively turned into Worn-men who can burrow underground using a special hand-held jack-hammer; Sardinemen, for underwater operations; and Pelican-men who can sweep through the skies (although Dr. Bacterium forgets to tell them of one little detail which restricts their ability to fly at a critical moment).
