A heavy, heavy remix package from Hypercolour. Step forward Bonobo, Kowton and Dark Sky, who all contribute stellar remixes of Maya Jane Coles’ “Don’t Put Me In Your Box” EP, originally out in 2011. Wrapping up this remix package is the Dark Sky remix of “Something In The Air”. Whereas Bonobo took the Original to more heady territories, Dark Sky’s mix is underpinned with a rattling 4/4 groove and big subby sweeps, retaining the original’s melodic touches. Dark Sky have been firing on all cylinders of late, releases on Tectonic and 50 Weapons, collaborations with Breach…and this remix further solidifies their credentials as a team to watch out for.
