That is, it is a community of physical and biological factors particular to a specific environment. That said, there is in this ecosystem a relationship of interdependence between the different animals and living beings that compose it. In this way, a change in one link in the chain can have consequences in a completely different and apparently distant link. Currently, human activity is one of the fundamental factors that is endangering the survival of our ecosystems. Large industrial discharges, pollution, or the excessive use of non-biodegradable materials such as plastic, year after year diminish the capacity of these ecosystems to regenerate. However, even the simplest actions of our day to day can pose a serious threat to our ecosystems. Throwing wet wipes or disposing of medicines down the toilet are, unfortunately, very widespread customs in a large part of the population. Every object that we throw down the toilet ends up in our ecosystems, modifying it, affecting it with harmful substances or objects that take hundreds of years to disappear. In this sense, it is essential that there is a collaboration of all the governments of the world to propose policies that make it possible to curb the devastating effects of climate change. Likewise, it is their duty to contribute to the education and awareness of citizens on these issues, frequently remembering why without our ecosystems, what we know as life on Earth. Finally, remember that it is in your hands to protect the environment. Every action you take can contribute to the protection or destruction of our ecosystems. Nature provides us with most of the resources we use in our day to day: water, components for the medicines we take, food, etc. Our duty and responsibility are to return the favor to nature, doing everything in our power to protect it.
