DLC Release 03/09/10 ~ Singles "Hounds of Love", a cover of a Kate Bush song, was released as a single in February 2005 from their self-titled debut album of September, 2004. The song reached number eight in the UK Singles Chart in its first week, and was named Best Single of 2005 by NME. The band is influenced by New Wave and Post-punk bands such as Kate Bush, The Wellingtons, Devo, XTC, Wire, The Jam and the Post-hardcore Fugazi. In 2005 the band toured the United States and later supported the Pixies, Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol.
