1997 BMW E36 M3 Sedan | Quest for Perfection Ep. 06 | Tail Light Fustercluck HD

In Episode 06 of the Quest for Perfection on the 1997 BMW E36 M3 sedan, we tackle the passenger taillight and replace it with a new OEM taillight. The original taillight was broken in several places, no longer functional for the brake light bulb, and had severe cosmetic issues with the rubber sealing gasket that was permanently attached to the vehicle and no longer attached to the lens housing. We remove the old lens, clean up the gasket issues, transfer the bulbs, and install the new taillight to perfection. Finally, we check the On Board Computer (OBC) to ensure the new taillight is functioning and no longer throwing a BRAKE LIGHT OUT error message.
