QUICK CITY BITE - Striped Bass Fly Fishing - LATE NIGHT FLY RODDING HD
QUICK CITY BITE - Striped Bass Fly Fishing - LATE NIGHT FLY RODDING. Set out looking for striped bass with the spinning rod the other night. Tried a few spots nothing going on. Last stop ran into the tail end of stripers popping. The striped bass did not want light tails or minnows so I ran back to the car to grab the fly rod, set up and slapped a yellow over white deceiver and sure as sure fish on! Waited for the next press of striped bass and hooked up again. They came in and out popping the disappeared as fast as they were there. Night time fly rodding I like to cast high, use my water tension and over line. I like to keep things slow and low at night. Slow strips, slow drops and always start with a floating line in the shallow water. I always try a few spots and with some luck and hope I look to run into a few. Find something to run on and take it all from there, all we can do. We are always happy to share our experiences with all those around the world and hope you enjoyed the video as much as we did making it.
