The Winter Wonderland, The Last Run

For the last night of operation on the Winter Wonderland I drug out some customs and unusual pieces. The boxcab electric shell is from Sunset Trains & Toys http://www.sunsettrainsandtoys.com/store/ from a limited run Jerry Loman made. I powered it with a Marx 1998 switcher motor and frame. The cars are by the US Toy Train Co that was in business from about 1975 thru 1985. The Marx 999 is pulling some M10000 coaches with a truck being added to the lead coach similar to the Lionel Rail Chief. The little GMC/EMC Dinkyville trolley has been re-powered by an Industrial Rail hand car chassis. The American Flyer Champion is now powered by a Marx double reduction motor and the Lionel 1511 is powered by a Marx pre-war motor with 10 spoke drivers. Tomorrow, the track comes out and the rebuild begins. Steve
