1984 F150 Motor swap.

My 1984 F150 gets a V8!! I swapped in a 4.6 Ford V8 and Automatic transmission from a 95 Thunderbird. I finished this conversion over a year ago and could not be happier with the results. This truck has plenty of power and gets 20 mpg on the highway! I will try to post a video of the truck running and driving soon. Stats: 95 4.6L non PI heads (motor stock) running factory manifolds and cats. Custom dual exhaust with cheap turbo thrust mufflers. Stock ecu and modified wiring harness from donor vehicle. At first I reused the factory relay module from the donor until it failed, I then rewired it with simple relays. Fuel tank and fuel pump from a 95 F150 (direct replacement / bolt in). Fuel lines from donor vehicle modified slightly ( custom bending here and there was all it took) along with fuel filter. Transmission Mount bolted right up to stock cross member. Custom built Motor mount brackets with motor mounts from a 1997 F150 4.6L. Cooling system reused from donor vehicle including electric fan. All emission items are intact and functioning. EGR , EVAP , Catalytic convertors.. Stock 8.8 rear end with 3.55 gears and a traction lock ( posi ). B&M megashifter to shift the transmission mounted on the floor.
