TENET (2020) - IMAX Footage [HD]

TENET was shot in two different formats: 5-perf 65mm film, and 15-perf 65mm IMAX film. Both were cut on traditional flatbed editors. All of the reverse footage shown was directly captured on the negative, with modified cameras that ran the 65mm film backwards. For the 5-perf film, the production had a portable 65mm projector on site to view dailies. They were then edited on a 5-perf 65mm flatbed machine. In order to edit the 15-perf 65mm film, 4-perf 35mm prints were struck from the IMAX footage. This allowed for editing on a conventional 35mm flatbed machine while still retaining the 1.43:1 aspect ratio of IMAX film. Two different 65mm negatives were assembled for TENET: 15-perf and 5-perf. Both made use of original negative material. For the 15-perf all the original IMAX negative was cut together, with the 5-perf footage optically blown up to a 15-perf duplicate negative.
