27 vs 27 Historical Football Fight Match (Calcio Storico Fiorentino) Commentary HD
We watch and explain/understand the rules behind Calcio Storico Fiorentino, a direct descendant of the Roman Harpastum game, and the grandfather of Soccer, Football, and Rugby. In this game, a team of 27 takes on another team of 27 with the goal of getting the ball into the end zone of the other team. You can use whatever tactics to disable the other opponents. You can punch, kick, throw, grapple, and dirty fight. The only three rules of the fighting are: no 2 on 1 or n on 1 teamups, no punches to the back of the head, and no strikes to a downed opponent. The teams switch sides when a goal gets scored and the umpire tosses the ball into the air. When a team runs the ball and fails to make a goal, the ball goes to the umpire too. Finally, there are NO SUBSTITUTIONS during this 50 minute match. So teams that lose a member due to injury will be down a man until the end. Hope you enjoy our commentary as well as some history to this game as we watch the gameplay.
