GameBoy Advance Backlight Mod HD

NOTE: Rosecoloredgaming.com no longer sells backlit LCDs or ribbon cable adapters, as replacement backlit LCDs have all but completely sold out everywhere. The mod itself, however, is still completely doable. Replacement LCDs can still be found at places such as eBay, although they can go for as much as $100+ now. Genuine LCDs pulled from backlit GBA SPs (model AGS-101) work perfectly fine with this mod. Be aware, however, that there are two different genuine LCDs. One can be used exactly as the replacement LCD in this video. The other requires modifying the GBA motherboard to work properly.
