Baja California Sur is the Mexican State that encompass the southern half of the Baja Peninsula, which divides the Pacific Ocean from the Sea of Cortez. Cabo San Lucas is the primary tourist destination along the southern most coast It offers countless "canned" tourist activities and a night life seen, but is not representative of traditional Baja Sur towns. La Paz is the state capital, and largest city, with a good deep sea port. Venturing out east from La Paz are snow white sand beaches, and warm crystal clear shallow bays.
