There he’d re-energize and wait for news of Billy Mays joining from the rear, before rising to take down beast from within. His heart had long been broken and love had long evaporated and passed through our atmosphere. But he is human after all and he simply couldn’t let his friend and humanity be slain for the sake of nothing more than total power.
