Robots Run Obstacle Course for $2 Million HD
Robots will compete in an obstacle course against teams from around the world for $2 million in the DARPA Robotics Challenge. Held in Pomona, the two day festival challenges contestant’s robots with eight tasks that must be completed in an hour. The challenge was inspired by the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster, in hopes that future robots will be able to assist on disaster sites. We check out the tech and challenges with Jose Marcelino Ortiz and Margaret J. Howell, on the Lip News. http://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-darpa-robotics-challenge-20150605-story.html http://thelip.tv/ http://www.youtube.com/theliptv2
