1st of November on Ukrainer youtube channel at 19:00 (Kyiv Time Zone, GMT+3) our first documentary movie will be shown. It will be subtitled in English and Polish languages. Premiere will start here: https://www.youtube.com/ukrainernet A few years ago, we realized that all our expeditions could be combined into one big movie. We know a little about the country we live in, we have even less vision of what it has. We would be happy to have German roads, French croissants, Italian pizza, live in a British residential area, call our mountains "the small Alps" and go for holidays to the "Ukrainian Maldives". We lack an idea of what we have. With this movie, we would like to broaden the understanding of our country. Music in the trailer by DakhaBrakha ❤️ We wanted to invest three years of our work in a movie about the traditional and everyday life of one of the most unknown countries of Europe. The movie that would tell the stories of people from different parts of Ukraine, their life and routine, crafts and art, interesting initiatives and culture. The movie, which is about places, seemingly not connected, about different worlds united by one country. For a while, we have been looking for opportunities to implement this idea, and a month ago we have found it. Our team won the competition of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, so this movie will be released online and on several TV channels in October.
