http://soundcloud.com/breakdafunk Kurator taken from Break Da Funk vinyl EP "Muppets Revolution". music: DJ Spike rap: MC Kfiat keys: Tomacki contrabass: Staszek Wróbel Released by: Funky Mamas and Papas Rec Break Da Funk has been acting for many years to promote funk and hip-hop in the best meaning of those words. DJ Spike and Ojciec Karol are responsible for the music on the vinyl, but there is a dime a dozen of great guests: MC Kfiat in "Kurator", Sean Palmer in "Muppets Revolution" as well as Maciej Kleszczewski, Staszek Wrobel, Tomacki and Paul Moszynski. The material is in a funk style, and the single "Kurator" is the only song with Polish rap. The album is extremely useful for DJs: there are two loops at the end of each side (endless grooves) and great material for all scratch heads - texts, sounds and beats. And just take a look at this incredible cover of SEPE! We highly recommend, there is only 300 vinyls out there! Break Da Funk is also a name of a club night running across the country presenting foreign and Polish artists such as: Ugly Duckling, DJ Kentaro, Scratch Perverts, Speech Defect,Krafty Kuts, A.Skillz, DK, Nostalgia 77, DJ Format , Boca 45, DJ Marc Hype & Jim Dunloop, Natural Self or Rob Life. For many years, Ojciec Karol and DJ Spike were on the radio waves with their show "Break Da Funk" in Jazz Radio FM, where break and funk fans enjoyed their funk fusion of music mixed live in the studio along with the live instruments of guest musicians. Now they run a weekly radio show Break Da Funk on Radio Kampus 97.1 FM (http://www.radiokampus.waw.pl). Every Thursday at 10 p.m. kWaSdLaMaS! You know the score...Peace
