But smartwatches from companies like Apple, Samsung or Fitbit are too expensive for your average joe. There is Xiaomi doing very well with it’s Mi Bands, but that can also be pricey for some. So, here is a smartwatch that looks and feels good on the hands, yet does not empty your pocket. The Blitzwolf BW- HL1 is a budget smartwatch that costs you slightly more than $20 and packs a lot of features. It has a trendy design. Many people have even mistaken it as the Apple Watch. There is a 20mm universal strap that you need to buckle up rather than having a loop or a retainer which I think is a good thing. In comparison to the Mi Band 4, it definitely looks better. There is a 1.3-inch IPS LCD screen here that is fairly bright. Although, it could do with a little bit more brightness in it. There are altogether 6 levels of brightness options in the Blitzwolf BW- HL1 smartwatch. Being a long time Mi Band 4 user, which has swipe gestures for navigation, the single button navigation on the BW-HL1 is a little annoying especially when you have to go to the same option again. Similarly, I compared the "Raise to Activate Screen" feature in both Mi Band 4 and BW-HL1 simultaneously. Here, I found that my Mi Band 3 was fairly easy to turn on while the BW-HL1 demanded a little more time when lifting the hand. There is a 180 mAh battery on this one which I had to charge in around 10-12 days. There are various health-oriented features as well in the BW-HL1.
