How To Open Your Hood! (2015-2020 Ford F-150) HD

Hello friends and welcome back to RtR! So to begin most of your car maintenance jobs the first thing you will need to do is pop your hood. Pretty much all vehicles will have a lever somewhere inside the driver side door that will unlatch your hood. The position will be different in most cars but it is usually somewhere around your feet. The lever should have a picture with a car with the hood up. Don’t confuse it with some of the other levers that may also be in the area like the trunk and the gas cap lever. Once you locate the latch you will pull it and it will make a popping sound at that point you will need to go to the front of the vehicle and locate the latch that hold the hood down. They are all different again so mess around with yours and figure out which way it needs to be pushed to unlatch it. Thank you for watching and make sure to like and subscribe If you found it handy!
