This budget quad core CPU is not only superb in the latest AAA titles, with really good multi threaded performance, but the 3.4GHz boost clock speed, with good overclocking leverage afford some really good single-threaded performance too, making this system ideal with games such as CS:GO, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, DOTA 2 and Minecraft at 1440P! For the motherboard I selected an ASUS B350 motherboard. The B350 chipset gives an increased number of PCI-E lanes, and supports overclocking. The B350M-E comes in a Micro ATX form factor, with 2 RAM dimm slots, for upto 32GB DDR4 memory, a PCI-E x16 (gen 3) slot as well as an M.2 connector, for super fast M.2 flash storage! For the RAM in this system I chose 1 x 8GB dim of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory. This 8GB kit gives enough for modern AAA titles, including GTA V, Overwatch, Need for Speed: Payback and Wolfenstein II: The New Order! It also allows good leverage for upgrade to 16GB of DDR4 memory, and has good overclocking support with superb reviews! For the storage in this system I kept it simple with a 1TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive. Whilst SSDs do provide a speed increase, in boot times and the time taken to load games, they do not provide the best value, and do not show a tangiable impact on gaming performance. This larger 1000GB capacity drive gives plenty of room for Steam and Origin game libraries, at the fairly fast 7200RPM speed! For the graphics card in this build, I selected the Nvisia GeFore GTX 1060 6GB model. Buying a graphics card during the CRYPTO-CRYSIS can be tricky, with prices volatile and stock unpredictable. Any GTX 1060 you can pick up will serve you well for 1080p and 1440p in the latest AAA titles, and the 6GB frame buffer allows you to crank up textures and ambient occlusion a bit! For the case in this build I selected Cooler Master’s BRAND NEW Masterbox Lite 3.1. This EPIC BUDGET chasis features an acrylic side panel window, with a spacious yet compact interior in the Micro ATX form factor. It also boasts colour customisation out of the box and front pane lUSB 3! Finally for the power supply I
