Sleeper PC Update and Tour of my Desktop Computer HD
In this video I will give you guys an update on the "sleeper" PC that I built last year. This video is also for those who keep asking about my personal desktop. During this installment I will give you a quick background on the system, tour of the inside, and I will fire it up to give you a look at the system when it is on. More details into the background: Last year I cobbled this PC together on an initial budget of only 400 dollars. The first build contained 8gb of RAM and a 320gb Western Digital Caviar Blue hard drive, both of which have since been upgraded. I built my PC in the old Nobilis case to save money and deter sketchy dorm mates. Despite its age the case has many nice features including a separate air intake for the CPU, lots of expansion slots, easily removable side panel, and tool-less drive bays. To date I am very happy with the systems performance. I use it for gaming, 3D design, Video editing, and school, it never skips a beat. Full System Specs: AMD FX-6300 @ 3.8GHz, 16gb of HyperX DDR3 @ 1600Mhz, 500gb PNY SSD, 320gb Maxtor HDD, Zotac GTX750Ti 2gb, GIGABYTE 78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX Motherboard.
