"Cafe Del Mar" was the first release of the really successful label "Eye Q". "Eye Q" was based in Frankfurt and founded by "Sven Väth", "Klaus Roth" and "Matthias Hoffmann". The label pushed the so called "Sound Of Frankfurt" and the genre "Trance" itself to its limits. "Cafe Del Mar" is one of those tunes that got remixed by countless artists. It created also some chart reactions: # 54 in Germany, #22 in the Uk amongst others. We met Kid Paul once in his record shop "Delirium" in Berlin. He quit the DJ scene already in 1995. Afterwards he started a more downtempo / drum & bass orientated label called "ISM". Of course we do not hold any rights but thought to share our musical roots and so support their music...
