SUN 181 Rufus Thomas Jr Bear Cat 45rpm 1953

This is an original 1953 SUN Records 45rpm by Rufus Thomas Jr doing "Bear Cat". Copied note by note and just written new lyrics, for this "answer" to Big Mama Thornton´s "Hound Dog" Sam Phillips had to go to court. On the other hand "Bear Cat" was the first bigger selling record on the Label and put SUN on the musical landscape. Thomas didn´t get tired to remind everybody that he was SUN´s first big selling artist back in the days. This copy is in VG++ condition, one of the best I´ve ever seen.
