As part of Aviva’s continued support of grass roots rugby in Ireland they teamed up Aviva Rugby Ambassadors and Irish internationals Robbie Henshaw and Jenny Murphy to give their top skill tips to Mini Rugby players across the country. Henshaw and Murphy created three videos, which are free to view online, with Aviva focusing on the core rugby skills of Passing, Evasion and Tackling. These skills are key in the development of young rugby players and hopefully the foundation for creating the next wave of Irish rugby heroes. Aviva invest in grass roots sport because they are investing in the future of the sport in Ireland. The Aviva Mini Rugby Festivals give young rugby players from all over the country the chance to play in a safe and non-competitive environment, ensuring their first memories of playing the sport are enjoyable, along with offering them the chance to run out where their heroes play, at the Aviva Stadium, for the Aviva National Mini Rugby Festival in May 2017.
