Chebukati’s leaked memo to Chiloba causes ripples in the electoral agency

Intense infighting between commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is interfering with the prep threatening to adversely affect the activities of the commission, with the seven member commission now sharply divided over the fate of members of the secretariat , who are said to have bungled last months election. Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati is said to have written to a 12 point memo to the CEO Ezra Chiloba , asking him to explain various issues , including why his password , was used to access the IEBC servers for close to one thousand times during the election. But four commissioners and including IEBC Vice Chairperson Consolata Nkatha say that the allegations raised are not factual , and the memo was not discussed and sanctioned by the commission plenary .
