This suite is based on the life of the Pirate Queen Grace O Malley who lived in the west of Ireland. She lived in difficult times socially and politically. She was a great figure for Irish Freedom. Shaun Davey works with a fusion between classical music and Irish trad. using instrument such as the uilleann pipes This is my first proper youtube video so please be nice, sorry about the timing of the slides in some parts and I know the reel part slide wise is a bit boring but enjoy the fantastic music
