Progressive Muscle Relaxation: http//:www.flourishtherapy.co.uk. Relaxation techniques to help you relieve stress and anxiety. Find relaxation, peace and inner calm with this 18 minute progressive muscle relaxation recording. This progressive muscle relaxation is an intensive and deep relaxation exercise and does not involve muscle tensing. I use this progressive muscle relaxation technique in some of my hypnosis downloads and find it is very effective in preparing clients for a hypnotic trance. This relaxation technique will not hypnotise you, but will enable you to enjoy deep relaxation which will help you to overcome stress and anxiety and take some time out for yourself for a stress-free and relaxing treat. This relaxation exercise lasts for just over 16 minutes and the soft music continues for a further two minutes. More free resources to come. I hope you enjoy it. You might want to find a spot on the wall to look at, comfortably – not staring at anything in particular – but just allowing it to occupy the centre of your visual field. Or you might feel more comfortable just ... closing ... your eyes as you let the soft sensations of relaxation spread throughout your body. All you need to do is to relax and listen … while you enjoy the sensations of doing nothing in particular … as my words wash over you … as you become more and more deeply relaxed as you are guided thru this PMR. As every muscle in your body is becoming more and more deeply relaxed. And so you might like to bring your attention to the muscles and tiny nerve endings in your scalp as they begin to relax as you notice them softening as the tension slips away from them, you might feel a small amount of tingling around the muscles of your eyes and across your forehead as the sensations
