+++ "Demi, you said yourself you would leave after this case was done, so why it´s such a big deal of them to fire you" She shook her head and got up, running her fingers through her hair as Selena got up too "I don´t care if they fire me, but I do care if they fire Joe...or Zac and Pixie, ok? This...Joe loves this job more than anything, he did so much to get in, it´s the one thing he worked hard for it and he can´t simple be fired because of this, I did what I did to make sure he was safe, to make sure he wouldn´t lose his job" she said as the tears run down her cheeks "I love the police and I like the thrill, but dancing is my real passion and I can actually do this, I´ve been doing for two years, but Joe? That´s what he loves and I don´t want to be the reason he lost it, cuz I lo... cuz I like him way too much to just ruin everything to him" "That´s your problem" she started as Demi raised an eyebrow, wiping away her tears "You hide your feelings, it´s been two years and it was sad, I know that cuz I was sad too, but you gotta move on...you finally let yourself be in a relationship with this amazing guy who clearly is head over heels for you, you love him and yet you can´t even say it, what´s wrong with you?" "Every single person I love or loved me died and I can´t deal with that anymore" "That´s not true, I am here and I bet Joe would be here too if you actually explained this to him" she sighed and walked over to Demi, kissing her hair "I´ll be in my room if you need, knowing you you want to be alone right now, right?" she nodded as Selena gave her a small smile, before walking over to her bedroom, leaving Demi alone. +++ "Hey, how you doing?" Pixie asked, taking a seat beside Joe on the couch as he kept his head back, staring at the ceiling "Zac explained to me what happened" "I´m mad, frustrated and confused right now, Pixie, she actually said she liked me and it did seem like she was having fun, like we were going somewhere, yet she didn´t even think twice before ending everything because of Marshall´s oppressive ways" "He is the boss, Joe" "So what? I was willing to find a way for us to keep our relationship, for us to be together without problems... I was gonna risk my job for her, but..." "Look, calm yourself down, enjoy the weekend and try to focus on something else, then on Monday you and Demi should talk, cuz together or not you´ll have to work together and the last thing we need right now is you two acting like you did before all this happened" he nodded slowly as she smiled, rubbing his arms "You two are meant to be, Joe, I know when things calm down you will be able to find a way to fix this" He sighed, nodding his head slowly as Pixie got up, walking over to the kitchen and Joe groaned, lying on the couch. The past few months had been great to him and suddenly seemed like his life took a different turn and everything was crashing down...the only thing he wanted now was to find this killer and get all of this over with.
